Flashcards for Mistral.

Flash is a spaced-repetition flashcard app that Mistral's Le Chat (now part of Mistral Vibe) can drive. Add it once as a custom connector, then just ask: Le Chat writes cards from whatever you're learning, quizzes you card by card in Flash's card panel, and Flash schedules the next review with FSRS.

What Le Chat can do once it's connected

01
Make the cards
Paste a chapter, lecture notes, a vocabulary list, or just describe the topic. Le Chat turns it into a deck of clean question-and-answer cards in Flash, and shows them to you in the card panel.
02
Quiz you in the card panel
Say “@Flash start a study session on my cardiology deck.” Flash's card panel opens right in the chat: think of the answer, show it, and tap Again, Hard, Good, or Easy. Or answer in the chat and let Le Chat grade you.
03
Grade and schedule
Every answer is handed to FSRS, so you see each card again right before you'd forget it. Nothing to configure.

Set up in about a minute

Add Flash to Le Chat
  1. Go to chat.mistral.ai and open Connectors in the sidebar.
  2. Press Add a custom connector. Name it Flash and paste this address as the server, then press Add connector.
    https://flashmemorize.com/mcp
  3. Sign in to Flash when it asks, and press Approve.
  4. In a chat, start with @Flash: “@Flash start a study session on my cardiology deck.” Asked only to “quiz me”, Le Chat sometimes writes a quiz of its own instead of using your cards.
Works on Mistral's free plan.
Connecting something else?
The connect page has the steps for every option: Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Mistral, Gemini, and Claude Code.

Why not just ask Le Chat to quiz me?

You can, and it works. For one session. Then the chat scrolls away and everything you drilled goes with it. Flash gives Le Chat a memory: every card, every answer, and every review date lives in your account, synced across devices, exportable to Anki or CSV whenever you like. Tomorrow, or next month, Le Chat picks up exactly where you left off and asks only what's due.

Free, with unlimited cards.
